Day 2: 5 Million Dezawa MUSE Cells (Intranasal) 🇲🇽🤍

Today started with continuing to prepare Eiley's body for the MUSE Cells.

She had another round of red light therapy, microelectricity, and physiotherapy. Today they also introduced a new therapy to her schedule called tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation).Simply put, it helps strengthen the connections between neurons by encouraging communication between different areas of the brain. It’s best paired with Physical Therapy, which we are doing. 

After all of her therapies, it was time for her intranasal infusion of 5 million Dezawa MUSE Cells. The medical team administered the cells through a syringe containing 2 mL of solution, alternating small amounts into each nostril before having her keep her head tilted back for three minutes to allow for absorption.

She cried through the entire process, which was heartbreaking to watch, but she handled it as bravely as she could. Thankfully, she recovered quickly with the help of her little brother's slobbery kisses and lots of snuggles. 🥹

Afterward, she requested a "coffee," so we treated her to a chai latte. She definitely earned it. 🤍

She's also been asking to go to the beach, so we'll be spending some time there later today. Right now, our focus is simply allowing her body to rest, recover, and stay as calm and peaceful as possible.The team explained that she may be extra tired after today's treatment, and sure enough, she was asleep not long after everything was finished.
