It's been an incredible hard day and few weeks. Today is my dad's birthday, and today also marks his 24th day being detained by ICE. I was holding off to get some good news for my next update, but unfortunately we still do not have a court date. Maria Alejandra has done everything to get all the paperwork submitted and have her lawyers check daily for updates, but the updates not only have been delayed, but they have rejected documents without notice, and are placing more roadblocks in our way. I was able to speak to my dad for a bit today, thankfully he didn't sound sick, he even sounded hopeful, but it's hard to keep a cheerful birthday tone when the road keeps getting harder. I appreciate every donation and share from the bottom of my heart. You will make a difference in our lives and we will see my dad out very soon. It's just taking quite a bit of time.
