Hi All,
Just like that, it’s 2026. 
It’s been a bit since we’ve updated everyone on how Dom’s eye is doing. 
Lots of you know he’s out and about, back to work, back to the gym, and getting on with things. He’s doing all of this with no vision in one eye. 

Dom met with the Dr. In Oakville yesterday and the day before, for more tests, measurements and to finally get a date for, what we hope will be, his last surgery.
 
April 16. They will implant an artificial lens, and repair his iris. 

We are hopeful for some vision to return…though it will be far from what he had before the accident. Unfortunately, the trauma of a direct hit to the centre of the eye, and the damage to the retinal/macular wall, was pretty extensive so he’s doing his best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.   

We wanted to thank you all for the support and donations during all of this. 
It definitely helped with the cost of surgery in the USA! 
Some of the procedures here in Canada have been covered, and some have come out of pocket, so again, thank you so much. 

We’ll keep the support page open a bit longer, for anyone wishing to help out.
