Denis and family
Dear friends, Thank you for your prayers, especially through the Surrender Novena, and to those of you who have signed up on this prayer train. After 19 days in two hospitals, we came home last night. We now have more clarity on the treatment plan and the road ahead. It will be harder than we had hoped, but God has been providing for our needs. The treatment plan will be aggressive, and we ask for continued prayers that Denis responds well to the medications and is able to tolerate the side effects and possible complications. Due to the nature of the treatment, Denis will be immunocompromised, and we will not be able to receive guests in the coming weeks. We ask in a special way for prayers that we may continue to receive Jesus in the Eucharist to strengthen and nourish us. Please also keep our daughter Ella in your prayers, as her little heart tries to understand what is happening.
Today is the feast of the Ascension and Denis’ birthday. Through the difficulties, God has been so gracious is his love for us. We receive his good gift for us to be able to be home for today and we are trusting in his perfect timing. Please pray for us to be receptive to the graces of the Feast and join us in rejoicing in the gift of Denis’ life.
God bless, Jolly
