Both regular and integrative oncologists are happy with how my progress is. My blood tests are looking really good. My liver enzymes are going down. When I saw the regular oncologist she reminded me that with metastasis and bone it can cause the liver enzymes to go up. With them going down it is a good sign. I will take it!! I have my MRIs on the 16th and then Herceptin infusion on the 17th.
A week ago my "adopted" grandson came to stay with us for a bit. Dad was in an accident and broke his femur. He is doing physical therapy and trying to get his house in order. That is a loooooong story. So grandson's grandpa and uncle live in Arizona too so they take him on the weekends to give me a break, they both work. Brandon knows since this is his best friend's (more like brother) child he is helping me as much as possible when he is home. The girls are also helping.
I have gone through my YouTube teaching video songs and classroom things that he can play with. OMG it feels so good. Granted grandson is only 2 1/2 years old but he will catch on. I read a book to him in the morning and before bed. We have a great routine going. Not only is it getting my teaching going it's being around a child. My heart is happy.
Didn't do anything for the 4th. Our animals do not like the fireworks and get stressed out so we stayed home and had a little cook out. I gave Benny trazodone and it help him a lot. It's hard to see my babies so stressed out. Hope you had fun.
