David is doing really well and expected to be discharged tomorrow!! We also got great news that the pathology report came back with NO cancer!! 🙌🏼 We are so thankful for these answered prayers!

The pathology also showed end stage liver disease and cirrhosis, which other recent  biopsies had not picked up. There is a pathology board that will meet next week to review his slides again, and that will hopefully give us more insight as well.

To be honest, we have prayed for healing for David for years. We have prayed for transplant to be way farther down the line when he is much older, or he could be one of the few with this disease that wouldn’t need a transplant. We prayed for his stents not to get infected, yet they often did and he landed himself in the hospital so many times with infections. All that to say, we have lots of unanswered and answered prayers. Sometimes it’s hard to see the bigger picture, but we are choosing to see God’s hand writing on our story in both the highs and the lows. We are confident in His love for us and that He is with us no matter what, even when we don’t understand the full story! He is faithful! 

We will continue to keep you updated of discharge from the hospital and when we can make it home to California. Thank you again for lifting us up so faithfully in prayer, we appreciate it so very much! ♥️
