Thanks for the prayers over the last few days. David was readmitted late Friday night for fevers and elevated heart rate. Thankfully, we were able to be discharged this afternoon. 

They did a number of scans and labs to try and uncover any source of infection. Most of the tests came back negative, and the team agreed the most likely cause of infection seemed to be the drain he still had in from surgery. They pulled the drain out yesterday, and he will continue the antibiotics for the rest of the week. 

Please pray that was the only source of infection and there was nothing else hiding! He'd love a break from the hospital without being poked and prodded and woken up 24/7!

We will continue with close follow up care in the clinic multiple times a week. We still don't have a date we can come home, that will be determined based on how he is doing over these next few weeks.
