Hi, just wanted to give everyone a quick update. Dava is so appreciative that so many people are willing to help her and Mark. Your generousity is as overwhelming as the recovery itself!
Dava will want to personally read your messages and respond to all of you. There hasn't been time to help her learn this tool, but her son Mike and I will make sure she does as soon as she is able. But we have been relaying the information to her.
Mark has been in the hospital for a week and is making progress. He is able to move more with a fitted back brace, but that results in additional pain because he is moving more.
The plan is to hopefully move soon to a rehab facility to continue his recovery before returning home.
I thought you might appreciate a happy Dava photo as she celebrated her 80th birthday!
