We got to hold her!

Our baby girl has been doing better this week. The steroid that they gave her, she seems to really like. They were able to decrease her oxygen needs and change her over to a conventional ventilator. She was previously on a ventilator that gave her a lot of short breaths in a minute and this new one gives her longer and less breaths every minute, like how we normally breathe. Her lungs are still very underdeveloped, but I feel like we are moving in the right direction. The biggest news of the week is that Orvil and I both got to hold her!! It was truly amazing and I can’t wait to do it again!
