Last week was tough, baby’s lungs are just not working like we wish they would. Yesterday we agreed to try dexamethasone to see if a steroid would help. She had been stable through the weekend but not making improvements and the combination of high oxygen and high ventilator settings was causing concern for permanent lung damage. When Hannah and I got to the hospital this morning her vent settings were decreased and so was her oxygen percentage through the vent!  We are happy with how she is doing and keep praying for continued improvement.
