Addison is now 7lbs 2.2oz! She will turn 44 weeks gestation on Monday or 20 weeks old! She is still needing a tiny bit of oxygen. She tried one day last week without it and made it 45 minutes until she needed it again. We are going to try one more time within the next week to see if she can handle not being on oxygen. Her bottling has been going alright. She takes anywhere from 2-40mL every 3 hours but we need her to be taking 40mL every 3 hours through her bottle. So Orvil and Hannah have decided that Addison is going to get a G tube through her stomach so we can keep practicing bottling at home but are still able to provide the nutrition that she needs. We think that the surgery for her G tube will be sometime this coming week or early the next week. After she has her surgery and mom and dad get education on how to properly maintain her feeding tube we should be able to go home! She will more than likely be going home on oxygen and then also her feeding tube so it will definitely be a different adventure for us.
