Happy Wednesday! No major updates this week medically - she continues to go to radiation M-F every day (8 down, 22 to go!) and besides being tired and some irritation at the radiation site, no side-effects to speak of so far! Duke also ordered additional third party testing to sequence the tumor for 10,000 different possible mutations so they will know absolutely everything about it: how it mutates, what it responds best to, etc. That takes another 4-6 weeks, so the plan is to have all the data and next course of treatment when they go back to Duke in early December.

One thing that we're all realizing throughout her journey, is how amazing this town is. The sheer amount of support (socially, financially, feeding-ly) has been wonderful - and the outpouring of love comes from places unexpected. The most recent? Well - fellow EES student Theo asked his mom if he could have one of the shirts that the gym in town put together to raise money. Since the shirts weren't meant for kids, Theo had a great idea - design a shirt to show Evan how much his school and community supports his mom. And, if you know anything about Evan, you know how into the ARMY he is. Thus, the DANA'S ARMY shirts were born.

We're working with another awesome local vendor to get these created, and we're taking preorders. No matter where you're located, you can purchase a shirt to wear. If you're local to CO, we'll have them for pickup about 2-3 weeks after the order is placed. If you're not, there is shipping available - all you need to do is select shipping or local pick up when you're on the site.

All proceeds will go directly to the Steins to continue to support their financial needs. Let's show Evan, Josh and Dana the ARMY of support they have behind them!
