From Josh — Boarding a plane today with my bride and my best friend. ❤️✈️
We’re leaving our amazing 9-year-old boy, Evan, in the loving hands of his grandparents for the next 11 days. That’s the hardest part. There’s nothing easy about hugging your child goodbye and walking toward the unknown. But he is surrounded by love, stability, and family - and that gives us peace.
This trip isn’t a vacation. It’s a leap of faith.
We’re heading to Duke so my wife can begin an advanced, cutting-edge clinical trial for Glioblastoma. We’ve come a long way to get here - appointments, scans, hard conversations, prayers, tears, hope, setbacks, resilience. And now we’re going all in.
We’re nervous. Of course we are.
But we’re also hopeful.
Hopeful because we believe deeply in the power of God’s grace and the strength that carries us when we don’t have enough on our own.
Hopeful because we have an incredible community behind us - your prayers, your messages, your love matter more than you know.
Hopeful because modern medicine is extraordinary, and we are in some of the best hands possible.
This is brave.
This is scary.
This is necessary.
This is us choosing forward.
Please keep our sweet boy in your prayers while we’re away. And please keep my warrior wife covered in strength, peace, and healing.
We’re stepping onto this plane with faith over fear and love leading the way.
All in. 🙏❤️
