August Duke Visit Update

I had an excellent scan yesterday and my brain looks gorgeous! The immunotherapy is working, as is the Avastin, and the inflammation cleared up so everything looks clear!

I was so lucky that my close college friend Kelly came down from NYC to be with me during this trip, and that my cousin Craig met us for our traditional breakfast. And to have Josh plus all three sets of parents virtually with us (from FL & Iceland!) during my doctor’s appointment made it even more special.

Evan even made a brief appearance and said, “Mama sounds smart!” (I try, kid, I try!)

Then I had labs and an injection before I left to head back to Denver (& Kelly up North).

It’s a beautiful day, and it’s a beautiful life! ❤️
