Another Infusion for a Sweet New Year

Despite an insurance snafu that’s ongoing, I got my Avastin infusion… just a day later than planned! 💪

Huge thanks to Josh for driving me an hour south two days in a row, to Pops for helping us navigate the administrative chaos, and to the amazing nurses who kept the cold Gatorades, Cheeze-Its, Reese’s Cups, and smiles coming. ❤️

This infusion is an important part of my treatment plan and helps us avoid potential side effects from my immunotherapy.

And with Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) starting tonight, I’m heading into the New Year with the right medicine in my system and hope for a healthy, happy, and very sweet New Year. 🍎🍯
