It’s officially been a month since the initial surgery and we would never have thought going into this, that we would still be at the hospital. We have no idea how we would have gotten through it without the incredibly generous and loving help we’ve received. Annie and I are beyond words how to describe just how grateful we feel from the outpouring of support. I was doing some math and the numbers really sum up how wild this month has been.
2 major surgeries
1 additional procedure
2 NG tubes
2 PICC lines
6 CT scans
8 X rays
2 massively bruised arms from all the shots
7 different rooms
A ton of different nurses, many of which have been amazing
568 laps walked around the unit
43 miles walked
Hopefully this wild ride comes to an end in the next couple days so we can get back home (for good this time) and back to our girls and Letti.
