Got to see the girls!!

Saturday was a great day. They are really happy with how she’s progressing in her recovery. She got moved up to a limited clear liquid diet which went really well for being the first thing other than a couple ice chips she’s had since Monday. The biggest thing that’s been bothering her is her midline incision. It’s understandable sore and tender, but she’s doing a good job at moving and trying to keep it loose. So far we’re up to 6 miles (75 laps) walking around the unit.

The most helpful thing for her recovery though, was getting to see the girls! They came for a while and had an amazing visit. Emmy was so curious, supportive, and helpful. And Lainey’s always been great at putting smiles on our faces.
