At this point, the #1 goal above all else was to get the tube out. She was cringing in pain every time she swallowed and her voice became raspy and painful to talk. The one thing we were told that we could actually do to help was to move. And move she did, she blew past her 15 lap goal by noon and hit the 2 mile+ mark of 27 laps. We were given optimistic news that we might be able to remove the tube tomorrow. And hopes were high that there was a light at the end of the tube, I mean tunnel.
