While she did get sleep, this was when we were told we would likely be in the hospital through the following week. The purpose of the NG tube was to prevent backup while her intestines woke from surgery. This was somewhat unpredictable but it seemed like it would only be a couple days. 

Overall this was a good day. She was able to do a lot of walking around the unit. She even managed to make the 13 laps it takes to walk a mile. Besides discomfort from the tube, she was feeling better.
