Christyna L
I want to first acknowledge that I’m relatively new to the Christy Fan Club. As her spouse, I don’t think I can even claim that I’m the Christy Fan Club President. I can claim that I am devoted and committed to The Club that most people can’t claim…
That being said, I am so happy that Christyna’s first day home is quiet and sleepy. Since last Thursday, Christyna’s body, mind, soul, and being have been through a lot. The fear of the unknown of cancer, the anesthesia and surgery, the ports and parts coming out of her, and the parts that are moved or just not there anymore have taken something of both of us. It’s so nice to catch her resting peacefully.
Thank you. If you’re getting this, thank you. I don’t know many of the people in this group on a personal level and I appreciate what you have done to get Christyna here and now. We all have our own stories of being with her and what she’s accomplished with (and for) us. Thank you for being part of the recovery and rejuvenating process.
Christy is way more organized around community than I am, and each of you have rallied around her and me to get us through. Thank you for that gift.
Thank you for the gift of you.
