It’s Working!!! 🎉🎉

Hi all, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, however you choose to celebrate. I was a little nervous for my birthday and Thanksgiving this year since at this time last year I was in the hospital finding out I had breast cancer. Those first moments were made of intense pain, disbelief, grief, fear, shitty doctors giving me an expectation date and no idea how or if I could fight this. 

A year later, I’m not quite at No Evidence of Disease yet, which is the ultimate goal, even though Western Medicine says it is impossible. I would certainly not have chosen this life of being a full-time patient. Monday thru Friday I have one or two treatments every day, most of which requires 3+hrs in traffic. BUT, the good news is - it’s working!!! 

The spread has been stopped in its tracks and over the past year I have developed zero new lesions anywhere. I still have NO involvement of any organs. My lungs are now completely clear. The bone metastases in my spine, hip, shoulder and pelvis are all shrinking dramatically. The one of most concern (which they offered radiation and I declined) has gone from 5cm down to 1cm. The primary tumor in my chest (Robert, as we refer to him) has been shrinking as well but much more slowly. In response we recently added intra-tumor injections of mistletoe, ozone and ozonated glycerin. After only two injections, the response has been dramatic. The tumor is shrinking, the blood supply is dying. I never thought I would say this but I’m actually kind of looking forward to another PET scan in January to see even more progress and I am manifesting that more spots in my bones will be completely dead. 

Above and beyond the commute, the fatigue, the nausea and the mental battle of all the things I can’t do, the biggest struggle for our family is the cost. Health insurance doesn’t cover ANYTHING that is actually working with the exception of the estrogen deprivation (aka medical menopause). My clinic is amazing and they do what they can to keep the costs down as much as possible, but it is super expensive to have highly skilled nurses, state of the art equipment and order medicines from Germany and Greece where they recognize that true healing from Cancer doesn’t simply come from cutting and radiation.
