I am sure that by now everyone is aware of my brother's situation with the virus he contracted from a tick. We have recently received his wheelchair and are now faced with another unexpected expense. Many of his specialty doctors are requesting that he be seen in their offices for upcoming appointments. The option for him to be seen at the facilities is for him to be transported by ambulance due to his ventilator and other necessary equipment. However, the ambulance does not transport his wheelchair as it is a specialty vehicle equipped with a ventilator. We have reached out to multiple foundations and programs, but there is a long waiting list for assistance with a transport vehicle. Therefore, we are seeking everyone's help to raise funds to purchase a van that will enable us to transport him ourselves. We have found a few suitable options priced around $6,000. We understand that this is a significant request, but at this point, we are desperate for assistance. We have ordered bracelets with the phrase 'CHANMAN STRONG' and a Bible verse, Jeremiah 30:17, which reads, 'I will restore your health and heal your wounds.' We will be giving these bracelets to those who make a donation, and if you are unable to donate, you are still welcome to have a bracelet.
