When I was in college I double majored in English Textual Studies and Psychology. My creative writing classes were so powerful and I was so incredibly lucky to study under George Sanders and Junot Diaz and have the opportunity to meet Eli Weisel and Kurt Vonnegut. My summer at the Skidmore summer writer's institute was one of the best of my entire life. Writing fell by the wayside and I have not sought to publish since my son was born. I do not want my writing to disappear if the worst happens and am updating my will. Please let me know if you might be open to something like this. I can explain more. The reason I am reaching out is I am a writer. Before my son was born I published some work but I have been away from the publishing world for awhile being a single parent and a child psychotherapist. I am updating my will and I am trying to appoint a literary executioner so all that writing doesn’t die with me. Please let me know if you know if anyone would be open to this. I know I am not famous or important but I have always been a fan of Curtis Sittenfeld and Junot Diaz was my professor at Syracuse. I just need some help and guidance. Thank you, Carrie
