Jamieson Family Health Journey
As we’ve continued to walk through this season as a family, many of you have asked how things are evolving—and how best to support in practical ways.
I (Alex) have recently updated the SupportNow page with several new needs and support options, and wanted to share a quick note so people know to take another look.
As always, PRAYER is what my mom and dad need and desire the most. Thank you so much for that!

In addition to updated financial and home-related needs, I've also added some practical ways to help during Lisa’s upcoming surgery and recovery, including:
- Post-op meal support
- Help with laundry
These kinds of hands-on supports are an incredible gift during a season when energy and capacity will be stretched thin.
I've also added a few additional financial and home maintenance needs. Some are immediate and time-sensitive, while others are longer-term projects that would meaningfully improve safety, sustainability, and daily life in their home.
We want to share all of this transparently, while also saying clearly: we don’t expect every need to be met here.
Like many families navigating layered medical situations, some things have been deferred over time. In this season—between Lisa’s upcoming surgery, Larry’s ongoing recovery, and Carly’s daily care needs—we’re taking a deeper look at what support could look like, both now and in the future.
You’ll see a mix of needs:
- Some are immediate and urgent (medical costs and safety-related home repairs)
- Others are longer-term improvements that would create a safer, more sustainable environment for caring for Carly and for life at home
We’re doing our best to approach each decision with wisdom—whether that means a temporary fix or a more lasting solution when it makes sense.
If you’ve already looked at the main summary page for this site, thank you—and we’d gently invite you to take another look, as several new items have been added.
We continue to trust that God will provide for what is needed, in the ways He sees fit. Your prayers, encouragement, meals, hands-on help, and financial support have already meant more than we can say.
Thank you for walking with our family in this season. We feel it, and we’re deeply grateful.
