We are 9/20 DMI sessions in and Camilla is officially working up the confidence and strength to get her hands down!!
This is HUGE!
With developmental disabilities, the body gets stuck in primitive reflexes. These stubborn reflexes prevent the brain from learning more helpful movement patterns. Hence Camilla being stuck physically at 4-5 months old.
Her biggest reflex in the way is being rewired and LOOK! She’s officially getting her hands away from midline/mouth and down!
This is HUGE for sitting, crawling, and getting in and out of sitting!
