I pushed and got Atom into three urgent oncology appointments for this week— all paid out of pocket after coverage was denied. When it’s your child’s life, you don’t wait.  I also started the process of getting Atom out of Kaiser and into a facility that can provide the level of care and urgency he needs.

This morning I received an estimate from Germany. It doesn’t include flights, lodging, or food of course.  (49.750,00 €)!!!!

No parent should have to wonder if money determines their child’s survival — but right now, it feels that way.

I am hoping he can get accepted to a clinical trial. I'm so anxious to see what all these oncologist recommend.  

I will not stop fighting for my boy.
