We spoke to the two doctors. Lots of good news.

They got 95% of the tumor! They will treat the last 5% with radiation.

The facial nerve is in tact. While it didn’t get the “response” they wanted (smile, squish your nose etc) and this could be due to the amount of blood pressure the tumor was taking, and the nerve is in shock. They said he could very well regain full facial muscle function - and we will know more in the coming days about that.

Everything else they said was rock solid during surgery.
