Hello and Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Surgery Day is fast approaching, and right now Caleb is in the pre-op stage of this process. Pre-op is to help explain the process before and after surgery, and to get any paperwork taken care of that would be needed for the day of surgery and after (blood transfusion, surgery plan, etc.).
Caleb had his first pre-op appointment with the Otolaryngologist (ENT Neurosurgeon) on April 14th. He explained the surgery process, as well as the risks that come with in more depth than before.
Caleb has his second pre-op appointment, April 22nd, with the Neurosurgeon.
Come April 24th, he will not be able to take any medications. He will need to be clean for the surgery. This is a big prayer point because at the moment Caleb relies on pain medication to be able to somewhat function throughout the day. We know God is able and can do all things; we are trusting Him to guide us and lead us as we have a lot of moving pieces right now.
Thank you all for your support, love, and encouragement through this difficult time.
