Hi everyone! 

We have a prayer request. 
Caleb has a MRI today at 2:45pm, it will tell us if the bit of tumor that was left behind has grown, stayed the same, or if the cells have died off.

His Neurosurgeon had told us after his surgery that 60% of the time, with tumors as big as Caleb’s, the remaining cells die off because they no longer have the large blood supply from the tumor to continue growing. We are praying this is the case for Caleb. 

He has his 90 day follow up on September 3rd to go over the results of the MRI. This will determine what our next steps will be regarding Caleb’s health. If the tumor has grown he will need radiation, if the cells have remained dormant he will need to have follow-up MRI’s every six months to check if anything is there for about a year and a half, and if the cells have died off there’s nothing else other than Caleb continuing his therapy. 

Caleb has had to reduce the number of time he goes to therapy as our insurance is no longer covering his sessions and they are now paid out of pocket. 

Please pray for Caleb to have peace during the MRI and during the follow up, for continued healing of the nerves and muscles in his face, for his mind (he has had some issues with certain cognitive functions since the surgery), and for continued provision for our family. 

We appreciate all your support during this time. It has not been easy but with your help and the Lord we have been able to come this far in this journey.
