All Good Things!

Zech has been healing SO well! Today was another checkup to see if he is ready to start using a shaping sleeve. This is the first step to get him to his robot leg! Sorry for not posting the pictures when I said I was going to, I forgot, but I went back and added the amazing ramp pictures to the last update ❤️
Zech's 4 wheel drive walker helps him get around the farm so well. He loves being able to be with his chickens again. Grandma Byles was such an amazing help to us, we couldn't have done the first month without her ❤️ I am so blessed to have her as my mother in law. 
Zech's best friend Briella is such an amazing person. She helps him whenever he needs anything, pushes his chair when he gets tired, stands up for him if kids are unkind, and shares her food (which is a big deal). She has professed that she is going to marry him, even with a little leg ❤️ which is adorable and warms a mama's heart....but let's just be friends for now 🤣 
Zech used to love going around our property in his little red car yet because of the pedals being on the right side he is no longer able to use it. So Travis started searching for something that is more compatible with his injury and was able to find something that is all "hand powered" so he is able to get around the farm like he used to again. The smile on that boys face when he got to do what he loves again, was all because of people who donated. He is able to love life the way he used to and still has some measure of normal that he knows from before now which is HUGE for a kid. We didn't realize just how much it would mean to him to be able to drive around his farm again and find joy instead of simply looking outside remembering and reminding us of what he once did, "mommy... I miss my car" and crying as he watched his siblings run out the door to go ride their bikes because he cant safely go with them. So Travis found him something safe, that he can fit for a long time but is still slow enough that I don't  have a heart attack whenever he rides it. I wish I could post a video on here but if you add Travis Byles as a friend on Facebook, he's posted some and posts a lot in general of our family. I don't get tired of seeing Zech so free again ❤️ God is so good! Thank you all so much for all your prayers, love, and support. 

Praises: Zech's leg had 2 holes that just didnt want to close...they closed! His skin is healing so nicely and hes ready to start preparing for a prosthetic! He is SO excited! So are we! 

Prayers: 
-Insurance is being switched around and causing little hiccups, please pray it all gets straightened out soon and all of Child Long Term Support is accepted in its entirety for Zech's needs. 
-PTSD is showing up in the oddest ways and we ask that you pray for the kids (more so Izzy, Ali, and Dassy) as well as myself, that as time goes on the truths we know and the verses we recite come faster, as well as the peace that passes all understanding. Things like people banging on doors or inflection in people's voices that make them sound like something is wrong have been huge triggers while we've (the girls and I) been at camp this week.
