We are back from our travels and getting through the last week of school for the kids!
Ella will graduate from high school tomorrow- we can hardly believe it! She will head off to Samford in August so we are soaking up all the time with her this summer :)
Cora finished 10th grade and is continuing to thrive at school, dance, and her banner making business. She will take her driver's test in the next few weeks, you've been warned! :)
Today is Wyatt's last day of 5th grade, ending our 13 years at Rocky Mount. It has been the best elementary school, so this day is bittersweet. He is ready to play lots of baseball and basketball this summer and have fun with friends!
Brent continues to health well from surgery and has been attending all of the end of the year festivities. As far as treatment plans go, we are still in the decision making process as not all oncologists have agreed on exact treatment plan. All are in agreement that chemo needs to start soon, we are still determining the best plan of action and timing of it all. We hope to be ready to start on June 1-whatever that looks like. We hope to have a decision made over the weekend and will update once we know.
Thank you again for the donations, the meals, the groceries and giftcards, rides, and everything you are doing to help our family while we deal with all of these changes. We truly have the best village behind us and we appreciate each and every one of you.
Our specific prayers this week-
*Please pray for Ella as she graduates from high school and prepares to head off to Samford
*Please pray for Cora's safety as she starts driving more and taking her Driver's Test
*Please pray for Wyatt as he finishes up elementary school and gets ready for a busy and hopefully fun filled summer
*Please pray for Brent and I as we make some really tough decisions regarding treatment plans
*As always, please continue to pray that all the cancer was removed from Brent's body and he will be cancer free
*Please pray for our entire family to move through this journey with grace, understanding, and patience
