Monday June 1

Well, it started.  I'm not sure anything can prepare you for what day 1 of chemo is like.  Even after endless doctor calls, appointments, research, etc. it still hits like a ton of bricks.  I honestly don't have a lot of words right now, but would encourage you to go to Brent's instagram (@bwspirits) to hear the message he sent last week and the one he posted today.  His Faithfulness and strength are incredible. He is an incredible role model for our kids and is so inspiring to those around him.  

I had heard that trials can tear people apart or bring them together.  I can truly say that I love him more today than I did almost 21 years ago when I married him.  We are working through all of this together, relying on Faith, family and friends.  

Thank you to everyone that has helped us over the past 6 weeks and especially to everyone that has prayed for us and with us.  We love you all and can't thank y'all enough.  

Please continue to pray for Brent's complete healing and ability to tolerate treatment.  His liver numbers were high today which is concerning so please pray for those to return to normal.  
Please pray for all of us to be able to cast our fears and anxiety to Him and trust in His Plan, even when it is hard.
