Branson Update

Branson had another encouraging day. He was able to breathe on his own for several hours, initiating his breaths himself while the ventilator provided some pressure support because of his injured/collapsed lung. His PEEP is currently at 7 and his oxygen is at 35%, which is also encouraging.

They have also adjusted some of his medications, and he has been more stable and resting most of the time. Right now, rest is a good thing because his brain, lungs, and broken ribs all need time to heal.

We know recovery from this kind of injury is a slow process, but these are positive signs and we are thankful for every step forward. Please continue to keep Branson in your prayers.
