Hi all!
Brandon got surgery on Thursday 7/9/26 to remove his testicle and is recovering very well. The surgeon said the procedure went well and he was very adamant about Brandon not lifting anything for 30 days. If you didn’t know, Brandon is a physical therapist assistant and spends his days helping people recover from injuries and surgeries with, of course, physical therapy methods.
Brandon’s job requires him to be able to keep people safe by performing transfers and being able to assist them in a time that they can’t physically support themselves. Because of this, he will be taking a full month off from work.
Your support has given us such peace of mind knowing that we won’t need to worry about lost income during this time.
Our next step in this journey is seeing the oncologist tomorrow, 7/15/26, where more tests will be run and we will be scheduling his PET scan. We will see the urologist next week and will hopefully have pathology reports from the surgery. All of this should give us a better idea if chemo will be required. We will keep you updated, of course :)
