We are overwhelmed by the support we have received! Thank you - there are so many people who are navigating hard times right now, some of you included, and we are just so grateful for every little bit.
We are officially checking into UW Hospital next Wednesday the 12th and will stay for 5 or 6 days depending on how Brad handles the chemo treatment. Then, we expect to be home for a short time before we start down the transplant/chemo road. We will know more about that timeline on Tuesday the 11th and will obviously share what we know. This is obviously challenging with school starting for our boys in the next few weeks :-/
Brad is in good spirits, although it all comes in waves, for ALL of us. I'm so thankful we have another option to fight this thing - even if it's a scary sounding one.
Thanks for sharing this fundraiser, we are hoping to secure housing in the next few days.
