It’s been a rough week, one with very little sleep and a LOT of nausea for Brad. He has been so tired but lays in bed wide awake all night making many trips to the bathroom to throw up, it’s been terrible. We’ve been through several different nausea medicines and on Thursday, finally got one that seems to be helping with both the nausea and the sleep. He looks like a different person this Saturday morning, thank goodness.

Transplant appointments started showing up in his MyChart yesterday and the 1st through the 4th will be some very busy days in Seattle for Brad- a Physical, EKG, Pulmonary Function testing, CT scans and a Bone Marrow sample. Hopefully between now and the 1st Brad will feel good and be able to enjoy his time at home.

If you haven’t read this article yet, please check it out.

Thanks for keeping up with us!

**Philippians 4:11–13 (NKJV)** “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” **Brad,** I wanted to share this Scripture with you because I’ve always found a lot of strength in it during difficult seasons. I’ve walked through some trying times in my own life, but I wouldn’t begin to compare them to what you are enduring right now with the chemotherapy and everything that comes with it. I just want you to know that you are being prayed for. There are many people lifting you up, including people who don’t even know you personally. We’re praying that God gives you what you need to hang in there physically when your body is exhausted, emotionally when the weight of it all feels heavy, and spiritually when you simply need the strength to make it through another day. I’m also praying for your wife and kids—that in the middle of all the uncertainty, your home would be filled with a peace that doesn’t make sense apart from God, and that all of you would continue to have hope. Paul’s words remind me that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” isn’t a promise that we won’t face incredibly hard things. It’s a promise that **Christ will give us the strength to endure what is in front of us.** Brad, keep fighting and keep leaning on Him. You and your family are covered in prayer, and there are a lot of people standing with you. Brian
