Our Bo

I have waited to post anything because I wanted to protect our Bo & give him the privacy & rest he needs. But so many people in our village—his village—have been calling, texting, checking in, & loving on us, & I know so many of you are worried. For now, I’m asking that you please don’t message Bo directly. He needs all of his energy focused on resting & healing. ❤️ Thursday morning, we came in for what we thought would be routine early-morning labs. While we were killing time before meeting with his team of Doctors, we received a call telling us to return to the hospital immediately. They admitted him Thursday, & yesterday the decision was made to move him to the transplant unit. The next few days are going to be big ones for our family as we navigate what this means & what comes next. We are taking it one day, one conversation, & one prayer at a time.

So once again, this momma is asking our village to wrap our boy in some extra sweet & special prayers. I’ve said it before, & I’ll say it a thousand more times—he is so worthy of every single one of them, & of a long, healthy, happy life ahead of him. I will never have the words to fully express how grateful I am for the love that has been shown to Bo & our entire family. We feel it. We carry it with us. And right now, we need it more than ever…XOJB 🤍
