Bjorn had the incredible experience of being invited to throw out the first pitch at a Tacoma Rainiers game. We were worried that he would still be too sick to be able to attend the game but he recovered in time! We got there before the game to practice, and right from the beginning Bjorn was SUPER into it. He loved throwing the ball and meeting some of the players as well as the team's mascot. Once it came time to throw the first pitch, he didn't hesitate for a second and threw the ball as hard and far as he could! 

Because of his health and disabilities, Bjorn misses out on a lot of stuff. As a parent it can be discouraging to watch that happen to your child. Tonight, watching Bjorn have so much fun doing something extra special like this really helped to heal and motivate us! We CAN keep helping him learn and progress and we are blessed with so many people around us who want those same things for him!
