I spent a majority of the last 48 hours at Hershey with Mom. Yesterday started at 6:30am, for her procedure to get her port installed. Many appointments, labs, and consults filled the rest of the day. She didn't get settled into a room until around 6:00pm! A long day, for sure! A much needed transfusion late Wednesday helped her feel a little better also. (Huge thank you to everyone that takes the time and effort to donate blood.. You are literally saving lives!!)
Today we met with radiology to get her body mold made for Tuesday's radiation. After that, her first round of chemo got started. The first few days should be pretty mild. So far she is feeling well, with no noticeable side effects from the meds.Β
Your continued prayers and support are so appreciated! I will continue to share every message with her, and I know they are going to be instrumental in keeping her spirits up through all of this!

Is Beth allowed any visitors after the transplant? I will be at Hershey for a neurologist appointment on 10/26. I understand she may be in isolation. Any way to see her through a window? Also, I live in Bowmansville and could take care of her pets sometimes if needed. Does she still live on Red Tail Circle? Let me know. She and I helped each other get through nursing school. I am praying for her and will continue to.
