Hey everyone! Just wanted to share some amazing news about Benny. He’s been absolutely thriving in therapy lately! 🌟 His engagement and awareness have skyrocketed, and it’s such a joy to see him taking in more of his surroundings each day.

This week, we met with the GI team to tackle some feeding challenges. Benny has been having a tough time with frequent vomiting during feeds, so we are making some adjustments to help him feel more comfortable and improve his tolerance. We’re optimistic that these changes will bring positive results.

Vision therapy introduced a Little Room into Benny’s vision therapy sessions. For those unfamiliar, the Little Room is a specialized environment designed to help children, especially those with visual impairments, explore and interact with their surroundings in a safe and controlled space. It’s essentially a small, enclosed area filled with various objects and textures that encourage sensory exploration and motor development. Benny has been thoroughly enjoying his time in the Little Room—exploring different items, batting at toys, and even grabbing onto his beads!
