BEElieve In Benny
Today we sat down with Benny’s HBOT doctor to talk through options for getting a chamber closer to home—or even in our home one day. We’re holding this opportunity with open hands, praying over the next right step and trusting that God will guide us as He always has.
Truthfully, traveling two days every week has been incredibly hard—not just on me, but on Benny and our whole family. I’ve treasured the extra time with one of my dearest friends (and I’ll never stop being thankful for her hospitality and heart), but long-term, we know we need a better fit for Benny’s needs.
We are beyond grateful to be seeing such clear signs of progress with hyperbaric therapy. It’s truly changing things for Benny, and we’re beginning to map out what sustainable, long-term care looks like for him. What a blessing to even be in this position—God has opened doors we didn’t even know to knock on.
Benny continues to hold strong with weekly therapy sessions, and we’re also preparing for our next 20-day DMI intensive in Indiana this July. We’re praying over all the details and expectantly believing it will be another powerful step forward in his healing journey.
Next Friday, Benny will go in for his bottom surgery and a scope of his stomach. We’re covering the day in prayer—asking for peace over anesthesia, healing in recovery, and a safe return home by Friday night.
To everyone who continues to pray with us, walk beside us, and show up in big and small ways—we see you, and we thank God for you daily. This road isn’t easy, but we are surrounded by so many blessings. Thank you for being one of them.
