We are officially 11 sessions in with Benny’s hyperbaric oxygen therapy — and it’s been incredible to watch how far he’s already come! We’ll be completing sessions 12 and 13 this week, and our goal is to finish 20 total before we re-evaluate and plan our next steps.

Since starting hyperbaric, we have seen some beautiful changes in Benny:

• Stronger head control (he’s holding it longer and steadier!)

• More relaxed hands (we’re seeing less tight fisting)

• Tracking with his entire head (not just his eyes!)

• More facial movements (no smiles yet, but we believe they’re coming!)

• More vocalizations and little noises (music to our ears)

We are so thankful for the opportunity to pursue hyperbaric therapy and even more thankful for everyone who has helped make this possible — your prayers, donations, encouragement, and love mean more than words can say.

We continue to pray that someday there will be hyperbaric options closer to home.

But for now, we keep showing up, we keep pushing forward, and we keep believing in the incredible plans God has for Benny’s life.
