Update: Long Overdue
Bart's health has been declining since Christmas. We ended up back in the hospital on January 7th with bowel obstruction, clots in lungs and so many more medical things I will not bore you with. He's been in ICU pretty much the entire time and on and off a ventilator and had several surgeries. 

Where we are at: I'm meeting with hospice today to try and transition Bart from the hospital to home where we can work on getting him comfort and care in the time he has left with us. Things have just been stacking up against him... he's now on a permanent feeding  tube, he hasn't been out of bed in a month and we've had scans to determine that the cancer is progressing and in his current state treatment is not an option. 

As you all know, we are a family of great faith and while we don't understand this plan we know that God has a perfect plan for Bart's life even if being healed is not here on Earth. He also has a plan for me and my boys. Please pray for me as I'm tasked with making very tough decisions almost hourly and for my boys as they realize their dad's time here with them on Earth is coming to an end. Ross is having a really tough time and his little heart is breaking and that is breaking my heart as well. 

I know there are a ton of people who want to see Bart and visit and I know Bart enough to know he would want to see all of you. We are still at Lexington Medical Center for the short term but our goal is to transition him home with hospice care over the next few days if his body will allow it. 

I'm as you can imagine trying to be present for Bart and all the things so might be slow to respond to texts and phone calls so if you don't get me and have questions or want to see Bart these lovely ladies will have the latest and greatest information from me.

We are still fervent in prayer for a miracle for our Bart but we are also at peace knowing that God is in Control. Thank you for all of your love and support!
