First, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who responded from the last update that we sent out three to four weeks ago. We appreciate your support so much, through prayer, finances, sharing, and even emailing and letting us know that you care.

In particular, I want to thank by name Satomi, Ruth Mancini, the Howell Family, Thomas Proffitt, and John McCarthy. Thank you, each one of you, for your financial contributions. It is such an encouragement to Papa. I have seen tears in his eyes after receiving a generous donation from someone who cares.

It has been tough for Papa in many ways. Probably the most significant is that he doesn't have the energy to operate at the level that he knows he is capable of, and this creates angst for him. He is someone who is always working on his ideas and projects, and being limited physically to the degree of not having energy to accomplish what he knows he is capable of is something that he is not quite reconciled to yet.

Because of his peripheral neuropathy, his balance and fine motor skills are affected, sometimes causing him to drop or knock things over. Weakness and dizziness are also daily realities.

Recently in the last few weeks, we have observed blisters and other skin irritations break out on his legs and other areas. It's rather disturbing to see, but at the same time we realize that this is part of the process of the body trying to heal itself, releasing the toxic build up of years.

We take each day as it comes. Some days are better for Papa than others. Some days he doesn't have energy for much. His peripheral neuropathy has drained much of his energy in wanting to spend time with others outside of the family.

One recent development, besides others which we will be sharing in subsequent updates, is that Papa is planning a trip to Washington DC to visit our Congressman Lloyd Smucker. Having experienced the VA's "sick care" and their waiting for you to get worse before they give you the kind of care that would prevent that worsening, Papa desires to see change in the medical system of the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Please pray for favor and for Papa's energy and strength in making this trip.

He is also requesting an introduction to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, in hopes of furthering this initiative for the health freedom of veterans.

In addition to your prayers for Papa's healing, please pray for Papa's internal peace—that he would be able to rest completely in Christ and leave all striving behind, resting on the bosom of Christ as a weaned child with his mother (Psalm 131:2).

We thank all of you for what you are doing to support us. Even one share of this Supportnow page can make a difference. And we appreciate the time you take to do so. Until the next exciting update, which is coming soon...

Victoria, What is the medical diagnosis given to your Father by a Medical Doctor! If given, what are the procedures ordered by the Do. for the healing process?
