Thank you to my Initial Supporters: A Health & Fundraiser Update

There is a story unfolding here. Through this adversity, I am discovering and learning world-overcoming ideas and protocols I would not likely have encountered otherwise — and I want to share the first significant chapter of it with you.

I've been intending to make this first update for a good two to three weeks. Right now, my physical energy is at about half optimal, and my mental focus is, for now, less than what I am capable of. Though I've been cultivating a slower pace of life for several years, involuntary causes are now reducing that capacity even further. I tell you this not for pity, but because the way God builds anything is relational — and relationship requires honesty.

And yet — at the heart level, something has been renewed in me. As I learn these things, a quiet confidence has taken root. I believe, with growing conviction, that the natural means God has woven into His creation for our good are a superior path — and that in His provision I have real hope of overcoming the cancer, the neuropathy, and the anemia by those means, to the glory of His name. I am not trusting in man-made remedies that so often carry a train of harmful consequences behind them. I am trusting the Designer, and the healing He placed in what He made. I cannot command the outcome. But my heart is full of hope, my focus is sharpening, and my confidence is in the One who made the body and knows how to restore it.

I hope you will find time in your routine to view or listen to this update. The whole testimony of Holy Scripture makes plain that God builds through relationship — the epitome found most profoundly in the life and mission of our unseen King, Jesus, the Anointed with the Spirit, with burden-removing, yoke-destroying virtue.
