Thank you all so much!! Avia completed her second full week of DMI at the pediatric therapy center in Nashua, New Hampshire!! The week was a success, and Avia did a wonderful job, pushing through all of the different movements. She has the strength but still needs help getting the right muscles to fire up in time!! She has made wonderful gain and I will continue working with her daily at home and with the other therapies out of Reliant and Early Intervention. Avia has a speech evaluation at Worcester State College next Friday and she is on a waiting list for feeding OT and speech of UMass medical!! Also, The money already earned on this blog along with a private donation that came gives another solid week of DMI therapy that we have planned with her therapist Kathy in September!!! Thank you so much!!!! It’s crazy to think about just how much motor planning is involved in everything we do!! Avia had to learn how to fall down this week, but she learns and she does it well!! As hard as this journey has been I will continue to be eternally grateful for my sweet Avia💗
