Here is today’s update on Austin:
Major Milestones:
-Breathing on His Own: They turned off all breathing support today, and he is doing all the work completely on his own!!
-Movement: He lifted his left leg and showed great movement with his left arm and hand. His eyes are continuing to flutter as well.

Medical Updates & Care Plan:
-Drain Tubes Update: To clarify today's tube management, the team removed one drain tube completely and clamped another. The single drain tube in the middle of his head remains in place. They are monitoring him closely to see if his body starts doing what it should naturally—absorbing and clearing fluid on its own.
Looking Ahead:
We visited the Select Specialty LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) facility today. This will be the next step in his recovery once the doctors clear him to move. This transition will involve relocating him from Madison to the Milwaukee area.
Thank you all for continuing to stand by Austin, sharing his updates, and keeping the prayers coming!
