August 09, 2026 Update (morning)

This morning, the nurse stopped Austin's meds to see how he would react. He opened his eyes for a second. Then, the nurse did a "pinch test" (a test to see how nerves and muscles respond) on his armpits. Austin moved both of his feet and his right arm and even made a fist. This is all very positive news!

We are grateful to everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts. Your support means so much to us. We will keep cheering Austin on as he heals and gets stronger. Please continue sending your good wishes. Austin needs all our love and encouragement on his journey to recovery.
