Asher Blue
Big things today. We had a neighbor of a friend/relative that traveled from the Houston area to pray for Asher today. She revealed she had been shown things to come that I also have also seen, but I thought it was just my imagination or a daydream. Later in the afternoon my husband shared he had also seen the same.
Asher has been on cpap for about 5.5 hours today in two sessions. They just put him back on vent settings for the night to let him rest and will do more tomorrow. PIPs are fantastic and pressure support is where it needs to be for extubation so at this point we just need to build endurance. We're continuing the methadone weaning.
His bite block is out and we have been able to manage his tongue today without anything being shoved in his mouth, but tonight his jaw is more tense and we can't push his tongue behind his teeth so pray he doesn't re-injure it and he will settle.
We are still standing on Yah's Word and declaring life and healing over Asher. We also ask you to pray for baby Ezra and his last handful of nights have been very challenging for us as we've been unable to comfort him. One of the nurses told me she was surprised they let him stay with us and we don't want to give them a reason to say he has to leave by being excessively noisy. Pray for our girls and my mom as well as they've been making usually two trips to the hospital daily and I know they're tired.
Stand with us in prayer for speedy extubation without complications and no more speed bumps in the road as we prepare for discharge. Continue to pray for full healing for our sweet boy, for walking and running and climbing and dancing and talking and singing and swimming and that he'd share his experience with us and with others as he grows and that it would draw others to Yah's Kingdom. Pray for the right people to be put in our path to help support his body and mind as the miracle in him is worked out.
We love you all.
