Well everyone, we are fast approaching D-Day. Tuesday the 19th I'll be heading in for my double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction. It will be a long and intense surgery but I have the utmost faith in my team and am hopeful for a smooth recovery. 

I know many of you are wanting to see me pre and post surgery. I'd like to give an open invitation to people to come see me Monday afternoon/evening as I can only have two people in my pre-surgery room and those spots are reserved for Kevin and Kajia. Also, do people really want to get up before dawn just to see me off in the waiting room? I don't even want to be up before dawn. 

As for visiting after surgery, I imagine I might not be up to visitors Tuesday afternoon/evening. I will have Kevin updating people via the support now page, Facebook, and via text for those not often on socials. It is important for me to stay as calm as possible both before and immediately after surgery and though I know visits are wanting to be done with the best of intentions, sometimes people just stress me out lol
